We want you to feel confident about your dental care. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Tuttle has answered many questions about his services, office, and other matters. Take a look at some of the questions we hear most often.

Do you take my insurance?
We take all insurance that allows you to choose your own dentist. Additionally, we are a Delta Dental provider. If you have an HMO where you have to pick a dentist from a list, unfortunately, we are not on the list.

What if your office is not on my HMO list for insurance?
Over half of our patients don’t have insurance. We keep our fees affordable so you don’t absolutely need insurance. By the time you pay the premium, satisfy the waiting period, pay the copayment and consider the yearly maximum, it can be most affordable not to have insurance. Often the the full fee for service at our office is less than the copayment required at other offices.

My dentist says I need all this work and I’m not sure about it. What do I do?
Bring your concerns along with your treatment estimate and we will try to explain it and give you a free second opinion. People don’t often want to change dentists, they just need confidence and trust in their decisions. Call for an appointment. We can explain in a way you will understand.

Can I make payments? 
We want you to feel comfortable with your dental care, and paying for your services. Some of you have been with the office since 1958 and have a built-in credit history. For those that don’t, we offer Carecredit for those who qualify. Carecredit offers interest-free payments for a year if paid on time. All it takes is a quick phone call at the time of your appointment for instant approval.

Do you provide other services besides general dentistry?
Over the years we have provided services to include wisdom teeth removal, implants,
root canals, bone grafts and Invisalign braces. We still refer to specialists when necessary or when the task is outside the scope of our experience. We feel the more offices that get involved the more costly, confusing and complex the process gets. With dental implants for example, we place the implant and make the crown. It must fit and look good and last. Oral surgeons traditionally place implants but don’t make the crowns. When there are lots of providers involved, sometimes “the blame game” can happen when communication breaks down. We take full responsibility for the work we do from start to finish.
